Our Programs

Nurturing
Possibilities

Our programs are focused on maximising children’s development and independence. This ensures their meaningful participation and inclusion into the society. We also support their families and help sensitise the wider community.

This is an early intervention and education program which meets the individual needs of each child. The program runs Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm and is delivered by a transdisciplinary team of early educators and therapists. The program runs through the schooling year and closes in the school holidays.

The program is highly structured and based on Best Practice in Early Intervention and the Early Years Learning Framework. Every child has identified goals, developed and reviewed with their family, which are embedded into the program to ensure meaningful participation.

The program can be accessed by any child who has a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder or other Developmental Disability prior to starting school. The fee is $50/day.

Families can access different individualised programs for their children. Programs are delivered in a naturalistic setting of choice: the home, early childhood education and care settings or other.

Programs include Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Psychology. Every child has identified goals, developed and reviewed with their family, which are embedded into everyday routines to ensure meaningful participation.

Each year the Fit Kidz Foundation Centre will offer a calendar of information sessions and workshops for families, professionals and the community.
